Golden Ring overnight trip

I woke up 5 am and started my golden ting first stop Vladimir (Владимир), one of the most visited destinations within the popular Golden Ring circuit. It preserves several of the finest monuments of white-stone medieval architecture in Russia, along with a number of later buildings from the 16th–20th centuries. I toured this city for 2.5 hours.

The interior of the Cathedral of the Assumption includes a number of ancient frescos from late 12th century (northern wall) and 15th century (vaults), the latter being painted by Andrei Rublev and Daniil Chyorny.  unfortunately, Golden Gate was under renovation. Once the entrance to the walled city, the gate was originally built in 1158-64. At that time, the city was surrounded by a rampart with five stone gates. The Golden Gate is the only remaining part of the complex and the unique monument of ancient fortifications in Russia.

The bus to Suzdal took about one hour. I walked 3,5 knot the hostel before my phone become totally dead. I forgot my power bank in Moscow. It was a beautiful and relaxing town. I had a lot of fun walking via tiny paths and bridges to different facilities. Suzdal Kremlin is the most remarkable and the oldest part of Suzdal (named a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Now Suzdal Kremlin is a museum with numerous expositions dedicated to the history of Suzdal land, famous people associated with it, treasures from monasteries and churches, ancient Russian paintings and art.

I stopped by a supermarket and pick up a bottle of wine, frozen vege rice, and a can of fish for a quick dinner.
