Meet & greet in Taipei IV
Meet & greet series IV: two old colleague over lunch buffet at 花園大酒店饗聚廚房and an old friend over afternoon tea. The dessert bar is a highlight. Macarons, exquisite small cakes, and handmade bread all come from the hotel's dessert room, making it difficult to choose. There is also the traditional street dessert "Chimney roll" 煙囪卷 from Hungary, which is made by rolling the puff pastry in a special mold, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar powder and baked, and served with soft serve ice cream. There are also a variety of ice creams, Haagen-Dazs, and traditional handmade tofu pudding with fruits. Another highlight is the beverage bar, where you can choose from freshly made vegetable and fruit juices, congratulatory chocolate smoothies, coffee, and sparkling drinks, DIY fruit sparkling drinks made by the chef himself, and a variety of beers.
Then I walked home to see night lights and strolled via a night market 臨江觀光夜市。
