Quick sightseeing 南海路

I discovered National 228 Memorial Museum 228國家 紀念館 which building was designated as a Taipei City Historic Site in 1993. Among the modern historical buildings in Taipei City, it has the 1930s style and carries the progress of Taiwan's modern history.

The museum has a regular exhibition area on the February 28 Incident, a special exhibition area, an art space, and a multi-functional performance hall. In addition to historical education-related exhibitions, it also organizes democracy and human rights-related activities to introduce the February 28 Incident and the modern democratic process, and provides a learning channel for human rights education.

I also walked around the nearby National Museum of History 國家歷史博物館 that is the first public museum established after the Republic of China government moved to Taiwan. Some of the cultural relics come from the former Henan Museum (now Henan Museum). The Museum of History is located in the Botanical Garden on Nanhai Road. Its architectural style is classical Chinese architecture. I went around many times to paint watercolors during high school, but never went in. I did not go in today since I had another appointment to go.
